Hardhat is excited to announce two key senior team appointments. Lani Cush has joined the Melbourne office as Strategy Lead, while Senior Account Director Alex Harrison is moving to Sydney to accelerate the agency’s northward expansion.
Alex’s office switch is in response to the significant growth of Hardhat’s Sydney based clients, including Bupa, Steggles, Lilydale and Pace Farm and signals a bigger focus on building the agency offering outside of Victoria.
Lani joins Hardhat with a diverse background, having spent time at creative agencies including AJF Partnership, media agency Carat as well as roles client side. In her new position, Cush will be taking the strategic reins from Iain ‘Chalky’ White who, in marking 40 years in the industry this October, will be transitioning to more flexible arrangements with the agency.
On the team changes and Sydney push, Co-Founder Dan Monheit said: “Over the last 12 months, the Sydney market has been incredibly receptive to our offering and the growth has been phenomenal. Alex has been a driving force in the success we’ve achieved there to date and is the perfect person to lead the charge.”
“At the same time, we’re thrilled to have Lani join as our Strategy Lead. Lani’s intelligence, presence and experience across the comms landscape make her an invaluable addition to the team. Iain did an amazing job igniting our transition from ‘digital’ to ‘creative’ agency, and we look forward to accelerating this move with Lani at the strategic helm.“
