Hardhat Wins Big At Mashable Awards In NYC

We are celebrating big time today after winning the Best Use of Augmented/Virtual Reality for our Deakin University Flight DX3K project at the Mashable ‘Mashie’ awards in NYC last night. Now in their fourth year, the highly coveted awards are chosen from a shortlist of just four campaigns — meaning that it’s an honour to just being nominated.

The Flight DX3K project saw us create a VR experience for prospective students of Deakin University — allowing them to tour all four of Deakin’s campuses in just two minutes. The 360-degree drone footage was captured, before being projected into an immersive ‘in-flight’ experience that allowed up to 12 friends at a time to experience Deakin in all of its glory.
